Digital Art & Design 1 is an introductory level, application-based program designed to assist students in the navigation and comprehensive understanding of the functions and techniques in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Students will be able to develop image-processing techniques such as manipulating rasterized images and designing vector graphics in order to create artwork used in all different aspects of digital media. This course will provide a foundation for students to excel in a myriad of disciplines including graphic design, digital photography, web design, video editing and animation, enabling them to use these skills in future educational and career paths.
